Clarity
The brochure isn't a receipt.
That offer looks good enough that you've almost stopped checking it. You're already picturing the payoff, even though the costs aren't clear. Under The Bright Fire, the glossy edges catch your eye; luckily, the missing details are easier to spot today. Ask for the fees and evidence, then leave the decision until tomorrow. An easy yes can wait. The brochure isn't a receipt.

De kaart Thunder
A wake-up jolt

Your reply needs no promises.
An unexpected email has knocked the next sentence clean out of your head. You feel pushed to answer before you've even understood what's changing. Picture The Brass Bell still shaking beside you while your usual work waits on the desk. The disruption may not clear quickly. Say you're reviewing the message, then return to the work you already know. Your reply needs no promises.

De kaart The Marrying Maiden
A hurried union

Their logo doesn't pay rent.
You're close to accepting terms you'd warn a friend against. The company name looks impressive, but the pay and expectations don't match. Wearing The Mismatched Shoes, you can feel exactly where the deal pinches. You've got room to negotiate today if you actually use it. Put your minimum terms in writing, and walk away if they won't meet them. Their logo doesn't pay rent.

Two sides to a story

Leave last month's emails buried.
You and your coworker keep circling the same unfinished task. Each of you thinks the other should own it, and explaining yourself is getting exhausting. Between your desks sits The Broken Fence, with more gaps appearing as you argue. Before replying, compare the time a practical compromise would take with another round of messages. Offer a workable split. Leave last month's emails buried.

De kaart Progress
Moving ahead
Bovenaan: Vuur; onderaan: Aarde.
Your draft isn't drawer lining.
You've kept that proposal in the drawer long enough to know its flaws by heart. Now there's an opening to share it, and you're tempted to polish it again. The Morning Light falls across the pages you've been hiding; getting them seen may be easier than you expect. Put the draft in front of whoever can respond. Give them something real to assess. Your draft isn't drawer lining.
Maagd
De kaart Grace
The beauty of form
Bovenaan: Berg; onderaan: Vuur.
Don't defend the crooked headings.
Your report keeps getting a lukewarm response despite the work inside it. The messy layout is making people work too hard to see what you've done. Imagine handing over The Wrapped Box with its corners crushed: the contents haven't changed, but the reception has. You may still meet resistance today. At home, straighten the headings and make the opening easy to follow. Don't defend the crooked headings.
Weegschaal
De kaart The Creative
Pure creative force
Bovenaan: Hemel; onderaan: Hemel.
Your tabs aren't finished work.
You've got enough get-up-and-go to tackle everything on your list. That's also why you keep opening another document before finishing the current one. From The High Cliff, the route ahead is clear, but you still have to walk it. Write down the result you're actually pursuing, then stay with that work through the fiddly parts. You don't need another promising start. Your tabs aren't finished work.
Schorpioen
De kaart Stripping Back
Shedding the old
Bovenaan: Berg; onderaan: Aarde.
The repair bill isn't loyalty.
That thing you love has broken again, and you're already looking up another repair. You're trying to stop a loss that's starting to cost more than the object itself. In your hands, The Stripped Bark comes loose without needing another tug. You're short on reserves today. Cancel the repair appointment if it's only buying more trouble, and protect what you still need. The repair bill isn't loyalty.

De kaart Great Possession
Abundance
Bovenaan: Vuur; onderaan: Hemel.
Your title can't buy lunch.
Your apartment holds expensive things, but you're checking your balance before buying lunch. Looking comfortable and having money available aren't the same thing right now. Around you, The Heavy Harvest fills the room while leaving nowhere to sit. Turning something unused into spending money may go more easily today. List what you can sell, and skip the gathering you're paying to look successful at. Your title can't buy lunch.

Two sides to a story
Bovenaan: Hemel; onderaan: Water.
Keep those old screenshots closed.
Your coworker has pushed the disputed work back onto your calendar. You're drafting a reply that proves exactly why it's their responsibility. Beside The Broken Fence, you're both pulling at a boundary that won't hold much longer. Expect resistance rather than a quick apology. Work out what closing this dispute would cost, then propose a division you can live with. Keep those old screenshots closed.

Close the research tab now.
The proposal is open again, and you're changing words nobody else has read yet. Another useful reference has become your reason not to send it. You've been watching from The High Window; now the work needs to leave that room. You can get traction today, but only by putting something into use. Send the workable draft with its unresolved points clearly marked. Close the research tab now.

De kaart Small Taming
Small gains

Your blanket isn't a heater.
You're sitting in your coat indoors because switching the heating on feels wasteful. The money is there, but spending it on basic comfort still makes you tense. Hold The Spare Coin against your cold palm: keeping it there isn't helping your body. You've already got enough taking out of you today. Turn the heating on and pay for the warmth you need. Your blanket isn't a heater.
