La carta Mountain
Stillness
Don't add another calendar block.
Your deadline hasn't moved, but the work has stopped. Everyone on the team has a different fix, and you're itching to add something just to get moving. With The Solid Mountain behind you, holding your ground feels easier today. Keep the current plan intact while the disagreement settles; tell the team what's paused instead of promising extra work. Don't add another calendar block.
Toro
La carta The Joyous
Joy upon joy
Their mistake isn't your punchline.
That feedback sounds harsher every time you rewrite it. You need to tell your coworker directly, but you're worried they'll hear an attack. Pull up a chair at The Tea Table; the welcome matters, especially when they get defensive. Talk face to face, start warmly, and keep any joke about the shared situation rather than their mistake. Their mistake isn't your punchline.

La carta Mountain
Stillness
Keep that extra tab closed.
The team chat keeps growing while the actual project sits untouched. With the deadline approaching, you're tempted to start a side task so you have something to show. Picture yourself planted on The Solid Mountain, not chasing every message. You'll need to defend that pause: save the agreed version and explain what's waiting on a decision. Keep that extra tab closed.
Cancro
La carta The Marrying Maiden
A hurried union
In alto: Tuono; in basso: Lago.
Your signature isn't an apology.
The company name looks good enough to make you overlook the contract. You're already explaining away terms that leave you doing more for less. You're wearing The Mismatched Shoes here, and every extra concession will hurt more by evening. Tell the person offering it which conditions you need changed, and leave it unsigned if they won't meet them. Your signature isn't an apology.
Leone
La carta Modesty
The mountain beneath the earth
In alto: Terra; in basso: Montagna.
Don't turn the meeting theatrical.
Someone just presented your work without mentioning your name. You're sitting in the meeting, rehearsing the speech that would set everyone straight. Beneath your chair sits The Hidden Rock: your actual authority hasn't gone anywhere, and getting things approved may be easier than expected. Use the decision you still control; you don't need to recite your résumé to the room. Don't turn the meeting theatrical.
Vergine
La carta Different Views
Seeing it differently
In alto: Fuoco; in basso: Lago.
Don't pay for that guess.
You're reading the contract as permission; the client is reading it as a promise. That difference could leave you paying for work you never agreed to cover. The Parallel Tracks run beside each other without meeting, much like this conversation. Expect some resistance when you pause it. Ask what the disputed wording requires from each side, then get the shared meaning written down. Don't pay for that guess.
Bilancia
La carta Contemplation
Looking
In alto: Vento; in basso: Terra.
Leave that reply in drafts.
Your thumb is hovering over a reply to someone who sounded pointed. You're ready to demand what they meant before you've considered what else was happening. From The High Window, you can see more than that sentence. Getting there takes effort: put the phone down and read the surrounding conversation before deciding whether anything needs answering. Leave that reply in drafts.
Scorpione
La carta Fire
Clarity
Their typo isn't the story.
You've been trying to work out what your coworker actually wants. In the meeting, their position becomes clear, and it's not the answer you hoped for. Now you're close enough to The Bright Fire to see what's there, even if looking leaves you tired. Write down what their decision changes for your schedule, rather than arguing over how they phrased it. Their typo isn't the story.
Sagittario
La carta Modesty
The mountain beneath the earth
In alto: Terra; in basso: Montagna.
Keep your name on it.
You keep answering praise with reasons your work wasn't special. Now there's payment or a bigger role attached, and you're backing away again. Turn over The Hidden Rock; what's been tucked underneath is worth putting on the invoice. People may accept your claim more readily than you expect. Use your agreed rate, send the bill, and accept responsibility for the work. Keep your name on it.
Capricorno
La carta Small Taming
Small gains
In alto: Vento; in basso: Cielo.
Don't delete that small offer.
The payment landed, but it barely changes what you can afford. Now a modest offer from someone you know feels almost insulting beside what you actually need. You're holding The Spare Coin, not the whole budget, and the bigger plan may still hit a wall. Answer them about the paid work they can genuinely offer; don't reject it for failing to solve everything. Don't delete that small offer.
Acquario
La carta The Family
The people closest to you
In alto: Vento; in basso: Fuoco.
Their hurt isn't bad hearing.
You managed a patient smile for your coworker's mistake. At home, your partner's small reminder has your jaw tight and your voice getting sharp. The Living Room has heard both versions of you; familiarity doesn't make the sharper one harmless. You can change the exchange, but it takes effort. Unclench your jaw, lower your voice, and apologise without defending your tone. Their hurt isn't bad hearing.
Pesci
La carta Inner Truth
Trust from within
In alto: Vento; in basso: Lago.
Leave the old screenshots alone.
Your stomach tightens when your friend texts as if nothing happened. You need to explain why you're hurt without turning the conversation into a case against them. Hold The Bird Nest gently in your mind: there's something here worth protecting. You'll tire quickly, so speak plainly about the incident and how it felt, without emptying every old grievance onto the screen. Leave the old screenshots alone.
