Meteor Shower

The Orionid meteor shower peaks tomorrow night

The Orionid meteor shower reaches its peak tomorrow night. Tonight's moon is 58% lit, so the brighter streaks are the ones most likely to be visible through the moonlight.

Tiny dust grains no bigger than sand burn up high in the sky to make each streak of light. On the same night, the moon shines at 58% in Aquarius. Venus appears to move backward in Scorpio right now and is hidden in the sun's glare, making it hard to spot.

In astrology, a shooting star crossing the dark sky represents something small yet too special to miss. Before you go to sleep, jot down one small moment that caught your eye today.
