An Apparent Turn

Mercury appears to turn tomorrow.

Mercury appears to pause in Scorpio before beginning to move backward against the background stars.

Mercury doesn't actually reverse its orbit. As it passes Earth on its inner path around the Sun, it only looks as though it moves backward. That same night, the Moon is in Pisces, 91% illuminated. Venus also appears to move backward in Scorpio and is currently hard to see in the Sun's glare.

For playful reflection, astrology reads an apparent planetary turn as a chance to revisit unfinished business. Tonight, bring out a task you've set aside and simply name the next step.
