I Ching name · Water

One of the eight basic pictures of the I Ching, the old East Asian book of wisdom: Water.

Dog tends to choose the path, while Pig warmly adjusts alongside.

Where you click: Dog and Pig are neither bound together nor in conflict in the old calendar, so you shape your own relationship. Dog's sense of direction and Pig's warm willingness to follow often make an appealing combination.
Where you rub: Dog's habit of deciding and Pig's habit of adjusting can leave hurt feelings unspoken. The Crossing Deep Water card reflects worries pooling between you and weighing on the mood. Dog tends to overlook the signs, while Pig is used to keeping those feelings inside.

For Dog: Dog, before choosing the path, ask Pig, "How does that feel to you?" and make room for the answer.
For Pig: Pig, try not to take your own patience for granted; share a little of what you feel instead of holding it all inside.

Are there any unspoken worries pooling between you lately?
