Korean ddi · a light look at where two animal signs meet

Horse and Goat

Hand-holding pair

Yukhap (Six Harmonies)

The old Korean calendar pairs the twelve animals two by two and calls these pairs yukhap, the Six Harmonies: partners who join hands and act as one.

The pair's card

Sincerity

I Ching name · Innocence

A card from the I Ching, the old East Asian book of wisdom: Heaven above, Thunder below.

Horse and Goat tend to be caring partners who fill each other's gaps.

Where you click: Horse and Goat are partners who join hands in the old calendar, tending to complement each other and move as one. Horse often gives, and Goat takes that offering and makes it flourish in their own way.
Where you rub: Horse's urge to give and Goat's tendency to nurture what arrives can tilt the exchange in a single direction. The Purity card represents a sincere heart, without pretense or scheming. Horse tends to overlook that reminder and keep giving without sharing their feelings. The card also invites Goat to offer a little more care in return.

For Horse: Horse, before giving, offer a plain, honest sentence about how you feel.
For Goat: Goat, as you nurture what Horse gives, reach back with your thanks and a small caring gesture.

Have you ever shared a simple, honest thought with your partner?
